The Grays Anatomy

A selection of twelve short stories from the strange, and slightly disturbed world of author Rob Shepherd. This book is not for the faint hearted!

Rob Shepherd’s collection, THE GRAYS ANATOMY, reads like a beloved classic—a modern, updated literary companion akin to all those classic Hammer Horror films so many of us grew up loving. Delicious, dark, and unforgettable. Gregory L. Norris (Brutal Colours, Tales From The Robot Graveyard)

"These stories defy expectation.  He populates his world with intensely creepy and wonderful creatures and deeply flawed people. He gives us terror in the familiar, and quite often the enemy is us. The resulting stories are reminiscent of Barker's visionary style in the Books of Blood. But Shepherd's tales are absolutely original, clever, and absorbing. A thoroughly satisfying read!" Michael Schutz - Author (Edging)

"Wow....I was absolutely blown away by this cool, creepy collection of tales by author Rob Shepherd. I have already read a lot of his work and am a huge fan, so I knew that I would be getting something amazing from The Grays Anatomy, but it was better than I could have ever expected! I would recommend this to anyone - particularly fans of horror and the unexpected. You won't be disappointed!" Samie Sands

I found this book to be very enjoyable due to the writer's unique perspective on the horror genre. I'm also not afraid to say some of that perspective has helped to inspire some of my own writing recently, which I think is a good thing. It is difficult to choose a favourite story from the bunch. They're just that good! Bjae Ballard

Fantastic. Disgusting. Creepy. Addictive. Well worth every penny I spent on buying this quite excellent selection of short stories from the pen of Mr Rob Shepherd. I'm not normally one for reading short stories, I tend to go for full length novels, but I took a chance on this book. Wow, was I glad I took that chance. From the very first story (a unique take on the zombie genre, at least a style of which I've never read before) to the last story I was entranced by it all. Will definitely be buying more books by this author and I urge you to too Mr Paul S. This talented man has such a way with writing that each story kept me intrigued. When I read a book of any genre I aim for a well-written story that can easily draw you in with characters & baseline & Rob Shepherd did just that. A page turner is in my opinion few & far between & again, I don't come across that very often. I would highly recommend this book for many reasons. Hell, 12 stories in one book that can bring some twists, gritty & interest in mind. I truly look forward to reading more of his work & art because it truly is just that....amazing art! S.k.
